A cleaning campaign has been conducted in Fuvahmulah City to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and curb their population.
During the cleaning event held on Saturday, city institutions, local clubs, and associations collaborated with residents to clear numerous mosquito breeding sites across the city.
The Fuvahmulah City Council has urged residents to step up efforts in cleaning their surroundings and eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites, as the southern atolls are currently experiencing a period of heavy rainfall.
As viral fever and influenza continue to spread rapidly, the Council has urged the public to remain vigilant, emphasizing that individual responsibility is essential for the safety of the entire community.
