No political rivalries exist; entire island will work together for development and social progress: Kamadhoo Eid Committee President Shameem
The President of the B. Kamadhoo Eid Committee, Shameem, stated that the entire island will set aside political differences to work collectively toward local development and social welfare. Preparing for this year’s Eid al-Adha under the theme "From Heart to Heart," the festivities aim to showcase community unity while providing a significant economic boost to the island. Shameem further noted that the celebrations, which include the release of six new original songs, are expected to garner substantial public attention for the island.

Despite working on opposite sides of the political spectrum, the President of the B. Kamadhoo Eid Committee, Mohamed Shameem, has stated that the entire island will work together in unity for local development and social initiatives.
Speaking on Wednesday regarding the upcoming Eid festivities in Kamadhoo, Shameem noted that while residents may work on opposing sides politically, any friction dissipates once an election or political event concludes. He emphasized that no animosity or resentment remains afterward. He further stated that this spirit of unity and reconciliation has been a long-standing tradition in the island's community.
Shameem stated that the entire island would work together in unity towards development and all social endeavors. He emphasized that every resident would participate in the festivities, particularly during the Eid celebrations. Furthermore, he noted that Eid in Kamadhoo is a significant cultural, social, and economic event, underscoring that there are no divisions or disagreements among the community regarding these activities.

Referring to the festivities, Shameem stated that practical preparations for this year's Eid al-Adha began a month and a half ago. He noted that the positive outcomes of friendship and solidarity are already becoming evident.
Shameem noted that while last year’s Eid theme was "Hinithunvun", this year they have adopted the theme "Hithun Hithah". He further highlighted that these initiatives garner significant public affection and attention, while also serving as a major boost in promoting the island.
Shameem stated that all citizens are working with that same resolve, adding that six new songs will be released in celebration of Eid.
