RaajjeTV is set to bring live coverage of Kamadhoo’s vibrant Eid festivities once again this year!

RaajjeTV has signed an agreement to provide live coverage of the vibrant Eid al-Adha festivities in B. Kamadhoo for the Islamic year 1446, continuing its tradition of broadcasting the island's celebrations.

The Kamadhoo Island Council has signed an agreement with Raajje Television Private Limited to provide live coverage of the island's upcoming Eid festivities during a ceremony held at the RaajjeTV premises.

Deputy Chief Operating Officer Naazmee Saeed signed the agreement on behalf of RaajjeTV, while Council President Hassan Zareer signed on behalf of the Kamadhoo Council.

Following the signing of the agreement, RaajjeTV’s Deputy COO, Nazmee, highlighted Kamadhoo as a unique and standout island. Nazmee noted that Kamadhoo is well-regarded for its exceptional presentation of cultural sports and traditional activities. He further assured that RaajjeTV would provide comprehensive coverage of all these events.

Kamadhoo stands out as a truly unique island, renowned for its exceptional presentation of traditional cultural festivities. For the past two years, Kamadhoo has been the heart of the nation's Eid celebrations. Our objective this time as well is to bring every moment of the ongoing festivities in Kamadhoo directly to the living rooms of our viewers through RaajjeTV.

Kamadhoo Council President Zareer highlighted that this marks the third consecutive year RaajjeTV is broadcasting the island's Eid festivities, describing it as a great honor for the entire community. He further noted that this year's celebrations will offer unique experiences for the Maldivian public, promising that the event will be even more spectacular than in previous years.

It is truly a great honor for us to showcase our island to the entire Maldives. We have always prioritized the interests of our community, and our Eid celebrations are consistently marked by a spirit of collaboration. This is why the people of the Maldives witness the unity, beauty, and excellence of Kamadhoo’s festivities. This year’s Eid will offer unique experiences to the public and is set to be even more spectacular than in previous years. We are fully committed to completing all necessary preparations. Approximately 80 percent of the work has already been finished, and we are on track to finalize all remaining tasks by the Day of Arafah.

Speaking at the ceremony, RaajjeTV’s Head of Programs, Amir Saleem, announced that the station has decided to broadcast the Eid festivities from Kamadhoo again in 1447 AH. He noted that the island's celebrations have received an overwhelming response from viewers. Saleem further highlighted that the arrangements have been excellent, adding that Kamadhoo had proactively submitted their proposal well in advance this year as well.
