South Galolhu MP Meekail Ahmed Naseem, who is contesting for the position of MDP Chairperson, has pledged his full support to whoever secures the party's presidential ticket for 2028. He stated that he would be among the most steadfast supporters standing behind the successful candidate.
Speaking at the "Ithubaaru" rally held on Saturday night, Meekail stated that regardless of who secures the presidential candidacy for 2028, he will be among their most steadfast supporters.
Meekail stated that winning the 2028 election would only be possible if the party remains united, emphasizing that the public must make a critical decision in the upcoming vote for the Chairperson.
Meekail highlighted the concerns raised by general members during the local council elections. Specifically, he addressed several grievances expressed by the membership regarding the party's administrative operations. Meekail further stated that he would remain committed to ensuring transparency for the public regarding the management of MDP's finances.
