Responding to a question from RaajjeTV, the President stated that this is an endeavor that requires everyone to work together as a team. He noted that both through his tweet on election night and his subsequent actions, he has acknowledged the public's concerns and the need for government reforms. The President affirmed that he will move forward with implementing those necessary changes.
We failed to adequately explain the details of the referendum question or effectively campaign for a "yes" vote. This was a message I conveyed to our campaign team, specifically the PNC campaign team. However, in response, approximately 70 percent of the public has voted "no." Upon reflecting deeply on this outcome, the message is clear. Even if the result is a reflection of how the government operates or how I personally conduct affairs, it is evident that reforms must be implemented.President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu
