However, the Minister noted that since the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available units, some individuals will inevitably be excluded from the allocation.
The Minister stated that the process of removing ineligible applicants has been carried out. However, the Minister was unable to specify the exact number of individuals who have been disqualified thus far.
The Minister stated that he would provide an answer later after verifying the figures.
"Therefore, if the number of applicants on the list exceeds the available slots, some individuals will inevitably be excluded. We observed that even those who scored above 76 points had not been allocated housing. Consequently, we decided to remove any applicants who did not meet the eligibility criteria. These disqualifications were determined based on very specific requirements."Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib
The Minister further stated that even if some applicants were disqualified for failing to meet the requirements, the current administration would not be making changes to the list, and therefore, there is no need to announce a new one.
When previously questioned regarding the number of individuals disqualified for failing to meet the eligibility criteria, the Minister stated that the matter would be clarified.
