The President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Abdulla Shahid, has departed for Haa Dhaalu and Shaviyani Atolls to campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
MDP President Abdulla Shahid, along with South Galolhu Member of Parliament Meekail Ahmed Naseem, Vaikaradhoo MP Hussain Ziyad, and several general party members, are participating in the campaign for the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
As part of this trip, campaign activities are scheduled to take place across the islands of Shaviyani Atoll, in addition to Haa Dhaalu Atoll. Following the official launch of the campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections on the night of February 12, the MDP has been conducting a series of visits to various islands across the atolls.
During this visit, which includes the participation of MDP President Abdulla Shahid, door-to-door campaign activities and the inauguration of campaign centers are scheduled to take place across both atolls.
