Iran-Israel Conflict: Maldivians in the Middle East urged to register with nearest embassies immediately
Due to rising tensions in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Maldivians residing in the region to limit outdoor activities and strictly follow the instructions issued by local authorities. To ensure the provision of consular assistance, the Ministry has requested citizens to register with their nearest embassy and has publicized dedicated hotline numbers for support. Both the Ministry and overseas missions continue to monitor the situation and the well-being of Maldivians in the region very closely.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Maldivians residing in or traveling to Middle Eastern countries to take necessary safety precautions in light of the ongoing conflict in the region.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Maldivians currently residing in conflict-affected countries to minimize outdoor movement as much as possible. The Ministry further advised citizens to strictly adhere to the safety and security instructions issued by the respective local governments.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that it is closely monitoring the situation of Maldivians currently in the region, in coordination with Maldivian embassies across the Middle East. To facilitate the provision of consular assistance if required, the Ministry has urged all Maldivians residing in the area to register with the nearest Maldivian embassy as soon as possible.
