Maldivian Umrah pilgrims urged to exercise increased caution regarding travel arrangements
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is closely monitoring the situation of Umrah pilgrims in Mecca and is currently working to establish a dedicated hotline to provide information. The Ministry has urged pilgrims to report any emergencies to the Maldivian Embassy or Consulate in Saudi Arabia and to strictly adhere to all instructions issued by the Saudi government.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has urged Maldivian Umrah pilgrims, as well as those currently in Mecca, to exercise heightened caution regarding all travel arrangements in light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Sunday that it is closely monitoring the situation of Umrah pilgrims currently in Mecca. The Ministry further stated that efforts are underway to establish a dedicated hotline to provide essential information and assistance to the pilgrims.
The Ministry has requested that in the event of an emergency, individuals should immediately contact the Maldives Embassy in Riyadh via its hotline at +966506894477, or the Maldives Consulate in Jeddah at +966530838329.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has urged all Umrah pilgrims to stay updated with the latest travel information and to strictly adhere to the instructions and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities and the Saudi government.
