FDC Chairperson Nashwa removed from post
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced in a social media post on Thursday that Nashwa has been removed from her positions as Chairperson and board member of the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC).

Nashwa Abdulla has been removed from her position as Chairperson of the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC), the state-owned enterprise established to manage government social housing projects.
The decision was made by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), the regulatory body responsible for overseeing state-owned enterprises.
In a social media post on Thursday, the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced that Nashwa Abdulla has been removed from her positions as Chairperson and Board Member of the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC), effective immediately. However, the board did not disclose the reason for her dismissal.
Nashwa was appointed as the Chairperson of FDC by the current administration on January 8, 2025.
Nashwa is a seasoned expert with an extensive career in the Maldives' housing and infrastructure sector. She brings 16 years of professional experience to the field.
She has held several key positions within various government ministries in this field. Additionally, Nashwa has served as a director at the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) is a state-owned enterprise specifically established to execute the government's social housing projects for the citizens.
