With the addition of Kalaidhoo, BML has now brought ATM services to every inhabited island in 19 atolls under its "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" initiative. The bank notes that ATMs are a key component in improving financial inclusion by offering convenient access to banking services across remote communities.
BML also stated that while expanding its physical infrastructure, it continues to invest in enhancing digital banking capabilities to meet the growing demand for modern financial services.
The bank currently operates 42 branches across 20 atolls, supports 200 self-service banking centers, maintains 258 ATMs nationwide, and provides what it describes as the most advanced online banking platform in the country. BML positions itself as a key driver of financial access for individuals, businesses, and communities across the Maldives.
