SUS Academy crowned champions of Milo Fiesta
Super United Sports' Academy (SUS) Academy has been crowned the champions of the U-10 Milo Fiesta Tournament.
The U-10 Milo Fiesta Tournament wrapped up on Saturday. The finals of the Milo Fiesta kicked off at 4:30pm on Saturday.
The fiesta was an initiative of the Soccer Veterans Association of Maldives and kicked off on Friday.
SUS went head-to-head with Friends Football Family (FFF) Academy during the finals held on Saturday.
SUS beat FFF 4 – 0 during the game.
FFF came in second and Valencia secured the third spot in the tournament.
A total of 31 teams from 23 academies competed in this year’s fiesta.
These included academies from the capital Malé City as well as outlying atolls.
This is the third year the Soccer Veterans Association of Maldives has organized the fiesta for academies.
Super United Sports' Academy (SUS) Academy’s A Team advanced to the finals after beating BG Sports in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals were divided into two fields. SUS won the semi-finals 1 – 0 at one and 2 – 0 at the other.
