Club Valencia has headed to the finals after beating Super United Sports (SUS).
Valencia beat SUS with a close score of 4 – 5 during Thursday night’s game.
The team made it to the finals after playing additional time in Thursday’s game, which initially ended in a 1 – 1 tie.
Valencia took the lead in the first half of the match with a score by Abdulla Haneef. SUS tied the score with a goal by Ahmed Husam at the 90th minute.
This resulted in a round of penalties.
Both teams lost a penalty in the first five penalties, which led to another tie.
In the additional three penalties, SUS failed to score and Valencia scored one penalty which ensured their victory.
The tie-breaker was scored by Abdulla Midhuhath Fahmy.
Valencia will go head-to-head with Maziya in the finals. Maziya secured the first spot in the finals after beating Green Streets in the first round of the semifinals played earlier on Thursday.
Valencia and Maziya were the two qualifiers in the President’s Cup finals as well. It was won by Club Valencia.
