TC Sports Club and Super United Sports (SUS) have tied during the Dhivehi Premier League (DPL) match held on Wednesday evening.
Neither team was able to score during Wednesday’s game, with which TC faces immense pressure at a time the team was aspiring to secure a spot in the top four.
Although the team currently ranks in the fourth place with 28 points, winning Wednesday’s game was crucial for the team in order to secure its spot in the rankings.
Winning Wednesday’s game would have ensured TC third spot in the league table.
TC’s next game provides an opportunity and flares hope for the team to remain in the top four.
Both teams tying in Wednesday’s game does not change the odds for SUS as the team will be required to play in the qualifying rounds in order to make it to the first division.
TC is followed closely by Green Streets and United Victory (UV) with 26 points, in the league table.
