Buru Sports Club has successfully completed the group stage, after having won all of the games played in the Second Division football tournament.
Buru went head-to-head with Club PK in the final group stage match on Saturday evening, held at the National Football Stadium.
Buru thrashed PK 4 – 0 in the exciting game, having scored three goals in the very first half.
The winning team’s Ahmed Jumail scored two goals for the team, with Ibrahim Mubeen Ahmed Rasheed having scored one and Aiman Nazeer having scored the fourth goal, three minutes into the second half of Saturday’s game.
Buru, the champion team in the Third Division football tournament of 2021, finished the group stage as the only team that scored 100 percent wins in all matches played.
The team remains in the top spot of the group table with 21 points scored.
