Cricket Board of Maldives says the Limited Over Second Division Cricket tournament will begin on Friday.

Five teams will participate in the tournament and will play 11 matches. The tournament will conclude on the 20th of next month.

The Board says that each team can include two players under 23 years old. However, the Board said they will be able to bat only when five wickets have been lost and once 20 overs have been completed. Additionally, they can only play for four overs.

CBL Sports and the Army Club will face off in the first match of the tournament. The match will be held on the Maafannu Track area at 9 am.
