Victory Sports Club has renewed its hope of being included in the top four of the Malé League after having scored in extra time in its match against Club Green Street.

Victory SC defeated Club Green Street in the match played on Tuesday night with a score of 2-1.

The club had controlled early on in the match played at the National Stadium in Galolhu of capital city Malé, having procured multiple chances at scoring.

However, Green Street’s Ahmed Hassan had scored the match’s first goal, on the 43rd minute.

The first half ended with a score of 1-0.

Victory had dominated the game again after the whistle went off for the second half, managing to score its first goal on the 60th minute of the match.

The team had turned the match in their favour, after substitute player Ahmed Niyaz managed to score their second goal in the last few minutes.
