A little over an hour later HPA reported the 294th victim, aged 81.

Wednesday’s second victim succumbed to complications of the virus at around 06:54pm while he was receiving treatment at the Gaaf Dhaal Covid Management Facility.

This comes just a few days after the last fatality was reported, on Monday.
