President Abdulla Yaameen Abdul Gayyoom has decided to set off for Meemu Atoll on Monday.

Raajje MV has learned that President Yaameen’s visit to Meemu is to celebrate the completion of several projects launched by the government in that atoll.

According to reports President is to set off to Meemu on Monday; first to Meemu Atoll Mulah island. He is to inaugurate the project to provide clean drinking water in Mulah during this visit. This is President Yaameen’s second visit to Meemu Mulah after he assumed office as President. President Yameen had previously represented Meemu Atoll on the parliament.

The President will also launch a similar project in Dhiggaru island of Meemu Atoll and the project to prevent soil erosion in Naalaafushi on this visit.
