Celebrated midfielder Ismail Easa has signed onto United Victory.
United Victory confirmed that the National Football Team’s midfielder signed onto the team, on Saturday.
Having played for TC Sports Club in the previous season, Easa is an experienced midfielder who played for numerous clubs in the first division. He started off his football career, from Victory Sports Club.
The celebrated midfielder played for VB Addu FC, New Radiant Sports Club, Club Eagles and Maziya Sports and Recreation Club as well.
The former Eagles Captain also played important matches for the National Football Team, he was last selected to the National Football Team this year.
During the AFC Asian Cup Qualifying of 2017, Easa stopped joining the practices to prepare for the match against Oman in Malé City which resulted in his being left out from the team.
Earlier, another midfielder from the National Team and player for Club Green Streets, Mohamed Arif had also signed onto United Victory.
Ismail Faruhad and Ahmed Nizam from Club Eagles had also signed onto United Victory.
United Victory resumed practices for the upcoming football season, on Sunday evening and is set to go head-to-head against previous champions, Maziya in its first match of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, on December 13.
