Victory signs with well-known players
A number of well-known players have reached an agreement with Victory Sports Club, for the upcoming football season.
Mohamed “Baka” Arif and Ismail “Messi” Easa were among those who signed with the club this year.
They are reportedly the highest paid players in the club.
In addition, New Radiant Sports Club’s former vice captain Ahmed Niyaz, BG Sports’ former captain Mohamed Saabig and Club Valencia’s Hassan “Sadey” Ahmed have also signed with Victory Sports Club.
A number of players from last season have renewed their contracts with the club as well.
It was earlier reported that the club had been negotiating with national club players, in order to strengthen this year’s squad.
Recently appointed chairperson of Victory Sports Club, Ibrahim Nazeem said that this year’s squad will be the strongest “we have seen in the last five years”.
He further noted that the squad will be revealed “in the next week or so.”
