Maldives reports 13th death to Covid-19

Maldives has reported the 13th death to Covid-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that a 70-year-old local woman who was pronounced dead on arrival at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), had tested positive for the virus.
She passed away at around 1pm on Wednesday.
While this is the country’s 13th death to Covid-19, its the third one reported this week. A 77-year-old Maldivian woman passed away on Sunday while a 80-year-old man succumbed to the virus on Monday.
While Maldives has confirmed 2,501 Covid-19 cases this far, there have been 2,158 recoveries.
