Maldives reports 11 new Covid-19 cases

The new cases include eight Maldivians and three Bangladeshi nationals

Covid-19 testing at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH)

Maldives has reported an additional 11 Covid-19 cases.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced this via Twitter early Saturday morning.

The new cases include eight Maldivians and three Bangladeshi nationals.

This brings the country's total case count to 1,031.

49 people have recovered from the virus and there have been four deaths recorded thus far.
