Covid-19: number of recoveries reaches 46
Six new recoveries were announced on Thursday

Six more people have recovered from the coronavirus disease in the Maldives.
With this development, the country has seen a total of 46 recoveries thus far. Eight recoveries were reported on Wednesday.
As per the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 Dashboard, which is yet to be updated following the six new recoveries, the country’s recovery rate is at 4.13 percent.
While the country has announced 982 Covid-19 cases thus far, there have been four fatalities and three are currently placed on ventilators.
The fourth Covid-19 death was reported on Wednesday night; an 88-year-old man who was placed on a ventilator passed away at around 11:15pm, according to authorities. He was the husband of the country’s first Covid-19 victim.
