Domestic abuser arrested after victim shares story on social media

Police have made an arrest in relation to a domestic violence case.

The police said that an individual connected with a “serious” domestic abuse case shared on social media, was arrested shortly after the incident mentioned in the post.

The family has been informed of the arrest, and the case is under investigation.

While police did not mention any details of the case, other than the abuse details were shared by a boy on social media on Thursday night, reports indicate that the child’s father had physically abused the mother and threatened to kill her and their two children.
