AA. Council Vice President, five others arrested

Maldives Police Service has arrested six individuals from AA Ukulhas in connection to a case under investigation.
Speaking to Raajje.mv, Ukulhas Council Member Ali Zameer said Council Vice President Moosa Naeem and five others were arrested Sunday night under a court order.
Police had not released a statement on the arrest.
Zameer said Ibrahim Suzain, Abdullah Wahid Ali, Saudullah Ibrahim, Fikry Haneef and Abdullah Saeed were arrested. He said he had seen a Court order when the Police came to the island but no details were released regarding the arrests.
Various media reports had surfaced that Police was investigating a case where a grave was created on a road in the island. Media reports also said the act was carried out by members of MDP in the island, in front of MDP member Shinaz Moosa, who had recently shifted to PPM.
