There could be a surge in Covid-19 cases in the capital in the coming weeks.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said this while addressing the nation on Monday evening, citing health experts in the country.

Highlighting this, the president said that “we have to be cautious in the next two weeks”.

He added that combined efforts are vital to overcome this crisis.

However, the president said that despite a possible surge in cases in the future, that authorities remain in control of the situation.
