Six new Covid-19 cases reported in Maldives, incl. an 80-yo woman

Covid-19 testing

An additional six people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives.

With this, a total of 13 cases have been reported on Friday thus far, and this brings the country's total Covid-19 case count to 481.

While the seven new cases announced earlier on Friday evening included five Maldivians and two Bangladeshis, the new cases are two Maldivians and four Bangladeshi nationals.

This includes an 80-year-old Maldivian woman.

According to the Health Ministry's Covid-19 dashboard, all 13 are in stable condition.
