Two new Covid-19 cases confirmed

Two additional Covid-19 cases has been confirmed in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed this in a tweet sent out early Friday morning, adding that both are tMaldivians.

Both individuals are being moved to an isolation facility.

While the agency did not reveal where the cases were confirmed from, a community transmission was detected in the capital on April 15.

A total of 110 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the country now.
