Maldives Customs Service has won a match against the Ministry of Finance in the afternoon

Maldives Customs Service has won a match against the Ministry of Finance, in the ongoing Executive Futsal Challenge 2020.

The one-day tournament is being held in the mini-turf ground “3” of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) on Saturday and competing in the tournament are government institutions and public companies.

An initiative of the HR Maldives, the tournament revolves around the purpose to strengthen bonds between government institutions and offices.

The “King of the Match” was awarded to a Customs player.

Earlier on Saturday, the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) beat Maldives Corrections Service (MCS) in the Executive Futsal Challenge 2020.

The MNDF team went head-to-head with MCS’s Prison Club on Saturday, with Minister of Defense and National Security, Mariya Didi in attendance. The “King of the Match” was awarded to Lieutenant Colonel Shaamin.

Following the matches, the minister extended congratulations to the winning teams, via a Twitter post.

11 teams from government offices and institutions are participating in the tournament, with the final match scheduled for 05:15pm on Saturday.

The tournament being held at the executive-level, is hosted by the Human Capital Magazine.

This year, teams from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Maldives Police Service, MNDF, MCS, Maldives Customs Service, Maldivian, Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the Auditor General’s Office, Ministry of Finance and State Trading Organization (STO) are participating.
