Rifau appointed executive member of South Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness
Rifau is now required to be at meetings of held by the executive members and federation events

Ali Rifau has been appointed executive member of the South Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
Rifau is also a member of the Maldives Bodybuilding Association.
The South Asian Federation stated that Rifau's work has encouraged it to develop the sport in the Maldives.
His appointment was approved by the Secretary-General of World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, and the President of the Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness Physique Sports Federation and the President of the South Asian Bodybuilding Association.
Rifau is now required to be at meetings held by the executive members and federation events.
Rifau has served in the Maldives National Defence Force and had also been a volleyball referee.
