Man arrested for spitting on stranger's face

A 34-year-old man has been arrested in regard to the incident.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has arrested a man for spitting on a stranger's face.

The incident of a man spitting on the face of a random woman standing on the roads of the capital city was reported to authorities around 13:59 on Friday.

Authorities revealed that a 34-year-old man has been arrested in regard to the incident.

The case is undergoing further investigation.
