Male’ City Council member Zaidhul Ameen

Criminal Court has extended the remand for Male’ City Council member Zaidhul Ameen for the second time.

The remand had been extended by 15 days again.

His remand was extended in the Criminal Court session held Saturday night.

He was arrested regarding a black mail case; Police is yet to release any details on the case. Police media official said that details cannot be shared at the moment.

Zaidh is a Council member of Male’ City for the Hulhuhenveyru Constituency and a member of President Maumoon’s PPM faction.
