The Ministry of Economic Affairs has launched Job Center, an online platform.
The center was launched at a ceremony held at Hotel Jen on Sunday morning, by Higher Education Minister Dr. Ibrahim Hassan.
Establishing a Job Center is one of the incumbent government’s pledges, and will help with employment opportunities for locals.
Fayyaz revealed that capacity building for the tourism and construction industry will be conducted as part of the project initiated in collaboration of the World Bank.
While interested individuals are to register, it can be done through jobcenter.mv.
Those that attended Sunday’s inauguration ceremony include Speaker and former President Mohamed Nasheed, as well as cabinet minister and officials from state-owned enterprises.
