Mohamed Amir Ahmed has been appointed as the Director-General of The National Archives.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Sunday.
Mohamed Amir Ahmed, the Director-General of The National Archives, is a bachelors-degree holder in Dhivehi.
Additionally, Amir has many years of contributions to the field of media, literature, and education with his last post being the Administrative and Human Resource Director of SunMedia Group.
The post of the Director-General of The National Archives was previously held by Mohamed Shathir, and has been vacant since Shathir's appointment as deputy minister at the Ministry of Communications, Science, and Technology in September.
