VP Naseem had met with Councillors from Rathafandhoo in Haa Dhaal atoll and Maafushi in Kaafu atoll on Thursday afternoon during which Councillors had shared concerns their constituents continue to raise regarding island development.

Councillors from both islands shared their development goals and future projects proposed in line with bringing the progress the island communities desire to see during President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s tenure.

Rathafandhoo Councillors had highlighted that the island community requires an upgrade in the island’s healthcare facilities, infrastructural development needed for the council secretariat as well as the need to inaugurate a shore protection plan.
