A delegation from India’s National Center for Good Governance (NCGG) has visited the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

CSC President Dr. Ali Shameem and commission members welcomed the delegation at the CSC building on Monday.

The delegation was headed by Shri V. Srinivas, Additional Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance and NCGG’s Associate Professor Poonam Singh.

Ambassador of India Sunjay Sudhir also joined the welcoming ceremony.

In a tweet, CSC stated that NCGG will be finalizing the implementation modalities of the MoU on training of civil servants.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony, CSC President Shameem said that the agreement will increase the commission’s opportunities and capabilities.

The delegation also met Vice President Faisal Naseem and is set to visit CSTI on Wednesday. The Additional Secretary is scheduled to give a lecture to the Maldives permanent secretaries and senior administrative officials in government.
