Bar Council is seeking the opinions of lawyers for its 2020 budget proposal.

In a tweet on Thursday, Bar Council President Maumoon Hameed said they want to hear of any activities or programmes to be included in the budget proposal, which is being drafted by the executive committee.

He said that suggestions can be filled in the relevant form and submitted before August 25.

The executive committee of the Bar Council consists of the President, Vice President, and six members.

Council President Hameed said that the 2020 budget proposal has to be sent to the finance ministry before the end of August.

He also said the council has not received this year’s budget but that they are working on acquiring it.
