Parliament’s state-owned enterprises committee has discussed with the Auditor General on conducting a performance audit on the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB).
Speaking to RaajjeMV, committee chair Ilyas Labeeb said that the Auditor General has agreed to send a review of their request for a performance audit on Monday.
He earlier said that the members were appointed between 2014 and 2018 without the parliament’s approval and that the board had neglected its responsibilities.
Regulations dictate that the President send the names of board appointees to the parliament for approval.
