Local business magnate, Mohamed “Champa” Moosa met on Sri Lanka’s former president Mahinda Rajapaksa on Friday.
The meeting was held in the current opposition leader’s office, in Colombo.
RaajjeMV understands that this was a courtesy call following April’s terror attacks.
At the meeting, Moosa condemned the attack that killed hundreds, and discussed on ways to assist in boosting the country’s economy.
In addition to Moosa, a high-level delegation is in the neighboring country to show solidarity with the country following the Easter Sunday attacks. This delegation includes current parliament Speaker, former President Mohamed Nasheed, his deputy and other parliamentarians, as well as cabinet members.
