Majority Leader and Vilimale’ Constituency Member Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik says the no confidence motion on Parliament Deputy Speaker Moosa Manik will be defeated in the Parliament as well.
The motion against Moosa was submitted to the Parliament with the 15 signatures from Parliament Members of the opposition coalition.
Speaking to press following the no confidence, MP Nihan said that the PPM-MDA joint Parliamentary Group will vote against the no confidence motion. He added that the Government still commands majority in the Parliament. Nihan said the opposition is yet to win any motion and that this pattern will repeat in the future endeavors as well.
