Police receive cases of companies’ involvement in human trafficking

Immigration has forwarded 24 cases to the police regarding local companies’ involvement in human trafficking.

In a press release, Immigration stated that 24 of the 67 companies they surveyed had submitted fake documents to bring in foreign workers for various projects.

Immigration stated that the cases were forwarded to the police along with the necessary information, including the identities of the company seniors and others responsible.

Information on company shareholders and those involved have also been sent to the Ministry of Economic Development.
