Moosa Manik played an important role in former President Abdulla Yameen’s campaign for re-election last year, but is now seen praising his successor, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
He has also left Yameen’s party, the Progressive Party of Maldives.
Ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s candidate for L. Gan constituency is former RaajjeTV journalist Mohamed Wisam.
