The state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) is carrying out an awareness programme for cervical cancer.
Sessions under the program began at 1:00pm on Monday, and will continue until 4:00pm, at IGMH’s RDC meeting room.
Screening for cancer of the cervix will be conducted as part of the programme and a penal discussion to discuss vulnerabilities to the illness is also being held.
The programme is being held to commemorate World Cancer Day 2019.
