Maldives Media Council
Maldives Media Council has opened the opportunity to apply for membership.
The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the council member representing the media will complete his term on February 5.
Those wishing to become a member representing the media should send in their application with the relevant documents to the home ministry before February 13, 12pm.
The media council has eight members from the media and seven representing the general public. The members have a two-year term.
Seven members from the media and seven from the public were appointed to the council last December.
