The President's Office has appointed a ministerial-level Imam to the Islamic Center.

Sheikh Ibrahim Rasheed, native to Kulhudhuffushi island, was appointed Imam on Sunday. 

The President's Office on Sunday also appointed a deputy minister to the Health Ministry, Shiyama Mohamed, native to Feydhoo of Addu City. 

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has thus far appointed 37 deputy ministers.
