One of the two police officers injured in the recent fire in GA. Villingili is still receiving treatment.

The two officers were injured while responding to a fire in Villingili’s police accommodation block early Sunday morning.

The officers were asleep when the incident began but woke up immediately and joined the effort to quell the fire. They had sustained burn injuries and one suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The fire reported at 1:45am was controlled at around 5am.

Speaking to RaajjeMV on Tuesday, the police media officer said the officer who dislocated his shoulder has been released while the other victim is still receiving treatment for his burns at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
