President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has given assurance of his government’s support and assistance in solving the issues faced by the construction industry, to the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI).
President Solih stated this at a meeting with the 16th Executive Board Members of MNACI held at the President’s Office on Monday afternoon, which was publicized via the official website of the Presdident's Office.
The freshly elected President said this in response to concerns shared by the board members about the current challenges they are surfacing in the construction industry as well as issues faced while carrying out the association’s activities.
The executive members went on to emphasize the important of the government, investors and relevant associations working together to bring a desirable change.
President's Office stated that during the meeting, board members of the MNACI congratulated President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on his assumption of office.
President Solih has been meeting with heads and senior figures at many state institutions to check on their conditions and procedures, ever since assuming office on the 17th of November.
