MaldiCare signs MoU with Meitra Hospital
 
Initially two speciality doctors from Meitra Hospital will visit on a regular basis and later on to other specialities

Maldicare has signed an MoU with Meitra Hospital, Kerala, to further “vision of optimizing health care delivery and the overall health and well-being of patients”.

The MoU was signed at a ceremony held in Kerala on Monday. PM Shahul Hameed-Chairman of Janatha HealthCare, India- signed on behalf of MaldiCare while Director Dr. Ali Faizal signed for Meitra Hospital. 

According to the MoU, both partners would enter into a strategic partnership to promote and carry out health services in Maldives by Speciality doctor consultancies, medical education and patient referrals for further treatment in its Multi-Specialty Hospital at Calicut.

In a press release, MaldiCare and RaajjeTV’s Managing Director Ahmed Saleem said that this “opens an opportunity for Maldivians to experience a better health care facility”. 

Regarding the MoU, Dr. Faizal said that through this agreement between the hospital and Maldicare “will facilitate Maldivian patients to avail most advanced treatment both in Maldives and India”.

Initially, two speciality doctors, Orthopaedics and Cardiology, from Meitra Hospital will visit on a regular basis and later on to other specialities.

The Meitra Hospital nestled in the heart of malabar, Kerala, India, with the vision to create a health care delivery system is globally recognised for an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcome. Meitra hospital with a total built up area of 4,32,000 sq.ft, consist of 268 beds including 52 ICUs.

MaldiCare, former Malè Medicals, is one of the leading day care centres in capital Malè, recently started afresh, rebranded with a new management to serve more closely with superspecialist doctors, modern medical care and diagnostic support.

Dr. George Abraham, Chairman, Bone & Joint Care, Meitra Hospital, Directors of MaldiCare Mr. Anwar Sadath and Dr. Wasil attended the ceremony.
