The new government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has revealed that work will begin to reinstate unjustly sacked employees to their original positions within the first 100 days of Solih’s administration.
Things that will be carried out within the first 100 days of Solih’s administration was put on an agenda which reveals that all political leaders will be freed on the first day itself, and justice will be served for every citizen that has been wronged, those whose properties have been snatched, those who have been tortured, slain, abducted, exiled or thrown behind bars unjustly.
The agenda further reveals that work will begin to reinstate all employees who have been sacked unjustly as well as to return the original posts of employees who were transferred to another position.
Moreover, thorough investigations will be held into the cases of political detainees who have been jailed under influence or due to personal issues and investigations will also be held into the disruption of national safety due to employees in state positions misusing their powers to practice the culture of corruption.
The new government will also be looking into the laws that have been altered in the constitution to benefit a particular group or to the disadvantage of a certain group, as well as bringing the necessary changes to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and court houses in their work to establish justice.
Also, the new government will be sending a Juvenile Justice Act to the Parliament floor and also making adequate amendments to the state salary framework through the pay commission.
An audit is also to be compiled on the procedures of all private institutions as well as the entire judiciary to make them operate more efficiently.
